Identify Cichlid Species

I’ve had this guy for a year now and would like to identify the species I’m not sure what species of cichlid he is what lake Africa or South America could really use some help starting a cichlid tank and wanna make sure he’s with his own species or at least from same region and lake. I've talked to a few people no one has been sure so far I appreciate all the help. It's the one on the top of the picture the orange one.

Nice looking fish. It looks like a Red Zebra Mbuna or young Midas Cichlid head but I think the fish may be mixed. Welcome to Cichlidaholics Cichlid Forum.

I kinda thought of that or a frontosa (hope I spelled that right) he’s pretty small maybe 3 inches and he’s a year old body is pretty slim

The body and fins look a lot like a Blue Dolphin (Moorii). It is a nice looking fish.

Why thank you he survived me learning the ins and outs of the aquarium life so he’s the og of the tank lol

What size is you aquarium and how many fish do you have?

I have a 60 gallon and 6 fish that one odd cichlid a bumblebee cichlid a black convict a yellow lab and this one I can’t remember the name I also have a pear gourami which does really well with the cichlids actually and a albino lobster.
