Cable TV and Internet Provider Rant

I just spent the last 2 hours on the phone with my Cable TV / Internet provider. I've been with the same company for over 20 years now and have never had this much trouble getting them to deal. My 2 year contract ended last month and this months bill was double. So I call to negotiate a new contract and they tell me the new price (double) was the best they can do. I finally I get transferred to a supervisor and after another hour I finally tell her cancel my service, I'll go elsewhere. She tells me hold on a minute puts me on hold, comes back and gives me the same package and same price as my previous contract. What a bunch of scammers. :mad:
